DAYS/HOURS/SHIFTS: FT 11am-7:30pm varied days
RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide a consistent high quality food product for 70 residents in an a-la- carte dining room. Prepare and cook all food in accordance with specified recipes and procedures. Good sense of plate presentation, portion size and serving temperatures. Have a clear understanding of all safe food handling practices and methods. Work as a team player with good communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be highly organized and able to manage preparing multiple dishes according to ticket orders. Must be comfortable interacting with residents/guests in dining room and work as a team with wait staff. Prefer 1-2 years of a la carte cooking experience. Former knowledge of assisted living/skilled nursing environment and culinary schooling is desired. Must possess (or obtain within 30 days) a Maricopa County Food Handler Card.
