Experienced C.N.A. - Health Care Center
DAYS/HOURS/SHIFTS: PT 11pm-7am, including every other weekend and On Call 3-11pm..
JOB SUMMARY: To assist in the provision of resident care by performing non-licensed nursing duties under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, following established policies and procedures. Even though the licensed nurse remains responsible for those duties she/he delegates to the nursing assistant, the nursing assistant is also liable for his/her own action.
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 1-2 years experience in a long-term care facility as a C.N.A. is required. Current C.N.A. certification in the state of Arizona. Must be able to obtain Class II fingerprint clearance and be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Demonstrates good body mechanics and proper use of gait belt before ambulation, lifting, or transferring residents. Must be able to reach above shoulder level, bend, squat, crouch, kneel, balance, push, pull, and lift 50 pounds.
